GM FOOD

                                Written by Arsinoy Skarlatou C4

Nowadays technology has evolved and scientists have discovered a new way of eating, based on GM food production. There are a number of people who agree with this and some do not.

In the first place, GM food technology can help fight world hunger.
For example, we can consume bigger qualities with less cost and time. In this way the prices are low and all the people can buy them.
Moreover this type of food is friendly for the environment. Because scientists are not using chemicals for insects, so the earth is not polluted. This food is durable.

INTERNET

Is the internet reliable?

Written by Marinos Fergadiotis B' 5

Nowadays, the use of the Internet is essential as it is one of the main sources of information. But how reliable can it be?

Every day we come across information that in many cases is not complete, as well as some concepts that misinterpret us about the historical events and the truth even though we don’t realise it. These obscurities might affect our perception about a subject wrongly. I wasn’t going to write this article, but the intense disagreement of my sources about the subject of the first article I wanted to present, lead me abandon it and turn to this one.

AUSTRALIA

                                                     WRITTEN BY STAMATIS TSAKONIS B’5

The Commonwealth of Australia is the sixth largest country in the world (geographically) and the largest in Australasia and Oceania. Located in the southeast of New Zealand, north of Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and East Timor. The name Australia derives from the Latin phrase “terra australis incognita” ("unknown southern land").
Its area is 7,692,024 square kilometers, and its population is 24,051,400 inhabitants according to official estimate of 2016. The capital is Canberra with 380,000 inhabitants. It consists of the Australian mainland, Tasmania and numerous islands. For at least 40,000 years before European colonization in the late 18th century, Australia was inhabited by indigenous Australians, who belong to one or more of the 250 language groups. After discovery by Dutch explorers in 1606, the eastern half of Australia was claimed by Britain in 1770 and initially settled through penal transportation to the colony of New South Wales, which was officially founded on February 7, 1788 (although formal possession of the land had happened on January 26, 1788). The population grew steadily in subsequent years, the continent was explored and additional five self-governing Overseas British colonies were founded. These six colonies were united in 1901.

Christians- 2.2 billion believers

Most western religious follow Christian monotheistic religion
based on the Bible. Founder and central figure of the whole

teaching is Jesus Christ, as shown on the books of the New

Testament.
Key celebration for Christians is Good Friday, when the faithful honor the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. In Jerusalem, in fact, Christians participate in the ceremony along the road that Jesus believed to have walked up to the crucification area.
