FRIENDSHIP

FRIENDSHIP

By Arsinoy Skarlatou C’4

“Friendship is a single dwelling in two bodies.”  Aristotle said.

Nowadays technology has evolved so much that people have replaced friendship with technology but I think it is very important to have friends.
In the first place, friends can give us the courage to pursue our goals. For example, it will help us to have confidence and self esteem. Consequently, you will feel stronger and encouraged.

STAN

THE ARTIST FROM PAROS WHO HAS STOLEN GIRLS’ HEARTS!!!
By Anna Pilostomou with Mihailia Sifnaiou  B’4

The first time I met Stan

My name is Anna Pilostomou and I am 13 years old and I’m from Paros. The first time I saw Stan was 01/05/2016. He was in Paros and specifically in Naoussa. It was the second day of Easter. I was so glad that day because I am a Stan fan. I asked him for a photo. And this is the picture.

The second time I saw Stan
The second time was 07/10/2016 when I went to see Stan at the club “Autokinisi”. I went to Athens to see him singing. Once I saw him, I went nuts.

OUR E-MAGAZINE #7

Welcome to Fall Issue of Our School E-Magazine, courtesy of The English Language Class for the School Year 2016-2017!
It started as an English Class project for 3rd Year Junior High School students, during
the 2013-2014 School Year. Now, being our fourth year of writing, it has developed into something more - a written legacy that 3rd Year Students pass on to those who  study at Paros Junior High School and to all those who will find an interest in checking it out. But something new has happened this year. B' Class students participated for the first time, showing actual zeal on the job. Of course, they will continue to write, create and edit
next year- that’s what they say.
We created the issue in a simple design- nothing professional about its creation- just each student’s own touch and character.  Forgive our grammatical, syntactical or orthographical errors. As Editor, I decided not to tamper and interfere so much with
my students’/writers’ work unless it was necessary.
Lots of encouragement and support went into each topic when students didn’t know what to do. There was also some aid in finding a topic for some students or
downloading pictures for their work.
I personally want to thank my colleagues,  Ms. Kokkinou, for her help on the computers  and  Ms. Markantoni, for her guidance, and of course the students who got involved
in the process in any way, like my Co-Editors, the Photo Editors, and article helpers, too!
Hope you enjoy each page!!                                          A. K.
