LET’S MEET MR. JOHN LERIOS,TEACHER

Presented by Anastasia Skiada C4

STUDENT: Where are you from?
TEACHER: My mother is from the island of Naxos and my father is from Evia.

STUDENT: Did you choose to teach on our island and why?
TEACHER: No, I didn’t choose it. Since I am a substitute teacher, I go to a different place every year. The only thing I can do is to limit my choices. I ask for, let’s say, the Cyclades. Because there are so many islands, I’m not sure where I will be. It’s a random choice. Almost.

STUDENT: Would you prefer to work somewhere else?
TEACHER: No. I don’t have a problem with that. At my age, I think it’s a good idea to go places. I don’t have any obligations and I like going from place to place.

Karim Ansarifard

Written by Stamatis Tsakonis B5

Karim Ansarifard is an Iranian footballer who plays as a striker for Greek club Olympiacos and the Iranian national team. His playing style and ability have drawn comparisons to Ali Daei (the coach who scouted him) and he has been named Daei's "successor".
On 13 January 2012, FIFA.com selected him as one of the players to watch in 2012.  Goal.com also chose him as one of the hottest 100 young football players in the world.  Also in 2012, FIFA ranked him as the 48th best goal scorer in the world and second best in Asia

On 13 January 2017, Ansarifard signed a 3,5-year contract with Greek giants Olympiacos for a transfer fee of €400,000, while Panionios kept a 10% percentage of the player's next sale. He was assigned the number 17. On 24 January 2017, he made his first appearance for the club in a Greek Cup 1–1 away draw against Aris Thessaloniki, scoring his first goal to equalise the game.
He has been compared to Iranian legend Ali Daei and young German forward Thomas Muller by his fans. His favorite player is Fernando Torres. He is a center forward with great energy and impressive in both air and ground. He played as a right winger in first season for Saipa but in next seasons returned to his main position.

WHAT A MUSEUM!!

MY FAVOURITE LESSON IS....

What is your favourite lesson?

Written by Arsinoy Scarlatou C4

These days a lot of children prefer language lessons because they think that these subjects are easier, but I have a different point of view.

Maths is a very interesting lesson, it is like a different world with a new language. Maths is not a difficult lesson but, it is like a chain made of many lessons and if you lose one lesson the chain will break and you will get out of the Math’s world. This world has been made of many arithmetic operations with many symbols.
But the question is: can it become an interesting lesson? Yes, of course it can be, Maths is my favorite lesson and I am very proud that I tried to get in this amazing world.

School is tiring sometimes but it is very important because now we are building our foundation for our life. It helps us to build our character and also improve our quality of life.

ΠΟΙΟ ΕΊΝΑΙ ΤΟ ΑΓΑΠΗΜΈΝΟ ΣΟΥ ΜΆΘΗΜΑ;

                                                                                                          Γράφει η Αρσινόη Σκαρλάτου Γ4
